To Yaki Or Not To Yaki?

Now, what is yaki? What does this word mean?

We have had a lot of our customers come to us telling us that yaki means plastic. THIS IS FALSE! There seems to be much confusion over this term, so we will try our best to define what the word means for you.

Have you ever put in a very silky straight hair extension and thought that it doesn't match your hair perfectly? If so, you may want to try yaki next time you purchase your hair extensions.

Most of the 100% human hair extensions consumers buy tends to be hair from people of Indian, Chinese, Malaysian, Hawaiian, Brazillian descent, etc. The natural texture to these types of hair tends to be smoother/straighter than that of many of our consumers who are of African descent, who have a natural kink to their hair. In order to make the hair extensions blend more naturally into the hair of people of African descent, the hair extensions are processed so that there will be more texture to the strands of hair. The result? Natural looking, fuller, longer hair for people with naturally coarser hair!
